Here's a minor detail most people didn't notice. What the King did was figured out Netero's "rhythm," his personal "bias." This cost Netero his limbs. Now remember back in episode 7, guess what arm and leg Netero instinctively used in that game with Gon? Well in this episode, which arm and leg did he lose? Ding ding ding. That's next level foreshadowing.
