At least in this episode especially, we're supposed to see Reigen as an ass. However, as everyone is saying, the purpose of writing him this way is so we can develop him even more as a character in the following episodes. I understand Chris's dislike of Reigen, but hopefully as he sees this all play out he will change his mind. We still love you, Chris <3

Obviously Reigen does use Mob and it was that at first but as the series goes on he cares more and more for Mob next episode should show that. I didn’t expect Chris to reply In the comments tho 😂😂

2019-06-22 12:54:12 +0000 UTCYeah this is a rough episode to watch on its own lol. Works much better as a 2 parter. Gotta remember reigen hasnt really seen the fruits of mobs growth. S1 mob couldnt do anything without reigan. How many times was mob about to get taken advantage of before reigan saves him? Even the season finale was about mob leaning on reigan to relieve him of his burden. Also think about what mob has accomplished this season alone. He really has saved lives by helping out reigan. The girl mogami was possessing, the fat guy with rosary beads, even the pervert. Growth is an important theme of mob psycho 100 and when you grow, not everyone will see it right away.
