2019-06-28 12:31:23 +0000 UTCThe thing is though, most of these cases are not even scams. Spirits actually exist, and since Mob has worked there, they actually get exorcised lol. The clients that end up with massages don't even have a spiritual issue in the first place, they're delusional. And it's a bit morally dubious, but making these people feel like their issue has been solved makes them feel a lot better than telling them their issues aren't real, kind of what you guys were getting at. I don't agree with this solution obviously, but it's not that bad. The only time a guy got scammed, that I can remember off the top of my head is the dude trying to get the lock password from his dead Dad, where Reigen just acts lol. Curse guy deserved the scam. And the picture exorcism, didn't seem like there was any actual spirit in the photo. And Reigen charges low rates, etc. Regardless of Reigen taking the credit, at the end of the day, the client has their problems solved.

And reigen is interesting because even though hes a scumbag scam artist, he scams people into being happy and only really screws over people who deserve it. But even still when he uses mob he uses him to help people for dirt cheap prices. And thats probably partly why mob goes along with him. I also thought it was interesting reigen got help right after he directly spoke to mob because mobs powers are directly related to his emotions.
