Also, Zeke (the Beast Titan) doesn't hate his dad because he "left him". Remember, Zeke turned Grisha and Dina into the Marley police. Watch that part over and the reason for why he turned them in is said by Grisha himself.

2019-07-15 21:12:27 +0000 UTCSome main facts for this episode over-simplified: 1. Outside the walls, on the main continent, Eldians are shunned and mistreated for what their ancestors did. Hence them being put in Interment Zones. 2. Eldians are the only people who can become titans. Furthermore, everyone on the island of Paradis (where eren lives), are Eldians. People of Marley call it their paradise 3. Grisha (eren's dad), took lead in a revolt to push the history he and his comrades see as the truth to end the Eldian's suffering. 4. Zeke, Grisha's first son, is the BEAST TITAN. So yes, the beast titan is Eren's step-brother. 5. The 3 walls reside on an Island (that's where Eren and the main cast live). 6. The Ymir talked about in this episode, is a totally different Ymir. The Ymir we know was named after the original by people who got her off the streets and started a cult. 7. The Owl was the informant giving the people of the revolt inside information about the Marley government (Marley, being the kingdom of the main continent). The Owl was the informant the restorationists had in the Marley government, and you can see that at the end, he had the same titan as Eren. 2. They call the eldians devil bloods because Ymir made a deal with "The Devil of All Earth"

Just one thing : When Zeke was young the Marleyans began to recruit Eldian children to become warriors (titan shifters like Reiner) in order to retrieve the Founding Titan from inside the walls (Eren currently has the FT). They offered the families of the children the status of honorary Marleyans. Grisha tried to make Zeke a double agent, but failed because he put way too much pressure on him. Zeke snitched on his parents, and somehow becomes the Beast Titan later on.

Marleyans cant Ymir was a random girl from the slums who was given her name. She does’t have original ymir memories. Although she did eat a titan shifter so in theory she should have had the memories of the shifter she ate Marleyans have been sending titans to paradise for years and these are the titans we’ve been seeing in the story. In fact all the titans in this episode were seen in season 1 e.g. santa titan that ate eren Zeke betrayed his father because he believed in marleyan propaganda. Can also assume Reiner, Berthold and Annie do too but not sure There are 9 special titans (the shifting titans like colossal and eren's titan) and Marleyans took control of 7 during the war. They now have 6 cause Armin has the colossal now Worth mentioning that Eren currently has the founding titan because he ate his dad who stole it from the royal family. A lot of people forget this Also worth clarifying that Fritz and Reiss are both royal families, it's just that Fritz were left behind

Thats why bertholdt and reiner thinks everyone should die in the walls even though they did nothing wrong because they want to rid people who can turn into titans from the world. although, bertholdt and reiner are eldians themselves.... Zeke betrayed his father solely because he believed in the marleyan propaganda and didnt listen to anything his father was trying to tell him.
