Without spoiling ANYTHING I will say the princess has a lot more to her background and character along with development even though it might be a little slow. Also the way she acts is just her personality so she isn't a dumb thot lol. Stop acting as if this is super new because it isn't so it will still have typical anime tropes. This series revolves around a lot of character background and their own stories along with the constantly progressing plot. STOP being a pussy about the fan service. True degenerate weebs accept the fan service. Also to answer one of your questions the "holy knights" can be thought as sort of like the military of their kingdom. The holy knight all have ranks to show how strong and experienced they are. For example their is the holy knight with the pink hair who has a high holy knight rank while their is an apprentice holy knight who is of lower rank. The holy knights betrayed the royal family and plotted against them which was what was explained in these episodes. Don't wanna seem mad because I'm really not but going into a show with that kind of attitude just makes it overall worse for the watcher and the reaction. Be more open and accept what comes. Also the music is amazing in this series so be on the lookout for more soundtracks to come!
