In season 1 they very clearly stated that fairies do not rot away even after death. This was said when "helbram" (the one fairy with king that shows up) was used against king near the end of the first season. That is how he kept being brought to life even after death and even after a lot of time passed. As long as the body isn't messed with by some outside force it will stay the same. That is why Ban has Elaine protected and keeps her body. If he can bring her back her body will be fine because she is a fairy. If you already said this at the end than I didn't see it because I needed to go on to the demon slayer reaction. These uploads are mad late. It is 1 in the morning and I gotta go to work in the morning lol
