I didn't even realize they were the same shows when i watched them until someone pointed it out to me.... Just thought they were same universe stories haha. I only watched the 2003 version once near release though in my defense. ;)

2019-12-26 23:54:16 +0000 UTCFMA brotherhood is a shorten version of the original FMA form 2003 (for exemple the arc in Liore was 3 episodes long in the FMA 2003 and just one episode Brotherhood), moreover the storie takes an other path as it is way closer from the manga but it was mainly made for people that watched the original FMA. There is a few filler episodes in the serie but way less than the 2003 version. Even is brotherhood is obviously better than the original anime, it is still a very good anime a lot darker than brotherhood with a lot of interesting characters and characters that are present in brotherhood that are completly different in this version (king bradley and the weird grey guy in the opening and a lot more) and also a few fights that are way better than in brotherhood. The original FMA has one of the best anime movie of all time that is related to it's end (which is clearly not the same than in brotherhood) and FMA brotherhood has the worst movie, really, it is so bad i recommend you to not watch it it's just a waste of time. Finally, i just want to say that FMA 2003 and FMA brotherhood are different and i recommend you to watch both, but be careful FMA 2003 is getting old in its animation and narrative. BTW plz watch Prison School it's one of the best anime of all time

2019-11-25 19:36:08 +0000 UTCIn the original version they developed the relationship with the dad and daughter much more over a couple of episodes so it hits u harder the first 12 episode of brotherhood are basically a recap version of the original version after 14 or 15 we get new stuff that wasnt in the first version that's where the show really picks up right now it's considered slow lmao but yea great reaction really uncomfortable episode that every anime fan goes through goat episode
