Damn bro. You tried carrying them through the whole show with reasons as to why the writing, characters and everything was stellar but it sucks that Johnny didnt see it for what it was

I really liked Naruto Shippudens war arc, Never understood the critics. It had plenty of great twists, turns, conclusions to different relationships of characters through out the series, and just some crazy ass action. The whole destiny thing never bothered me cause it gave us even deeper lore to the naruto universe, Naruto had more layers to its overall plot obviously, just based off the number of episodes the show has it makes it all the more likely that would of happened, layers that are still being pulled back in the Boruto manga. Whether you enjoyed the layers ofc is up to you Lol, its subjective but I liked it though

FMAB and HxH is a pretty interesting argument. FMAB rarely had low points and it was consistently great while HxH had very low points but also high points that surpass fmab. Preferring either one is understandable.

I definitely think fullmetal is better than mob psycho and naruto. Naruto had that garbage war arc in shippuden, tons of side characters wasted, plot holes everywhere, ahem Kaguya the worst villain ever and every villain getting redeemed for no reason.
Fullmetal is definitely much more layered than naruto. Every side character in Fullmetal had development or story fulfilment, no plot holes and a great thematic message that stayed consistent. Naruto ruining that whole destiny and hard work concept also left a bitter taste.
I have no doubt in my mind that Fullmetal is much better than all of these shows. The only ones we could argue on the same level or being better is Hunter x Hunter and Attack on Titan tbh.

A happy ending is perfect and fitting for the show. As viewers we deserve to see Ed and Al happy. They been through way too much so it’s the least they deserve. It isn’t completely happy anyways. Many people died like Greed, Hohenheim, Fu, Buccaneer, Nina and Hughes etc. It’s relatively happy if you ask me
Also, Ed sacrificing his alchemy is his way of learning that having alchemy doesn’t matter much but forming bonds with family and the community is much more valuable to him as a person.
