Yeah because he was so random in the arc with Konohamaru and now we getting a backstory we can at least feel for me a little bit! I only wish we that Mugino focus episode last week instead of this week...

I want to get to the action and the manga stuff too, but you have to realize the manga moved at such a fast pace that it left a LOT of things unexplained, and the anime is taking its time to actually explain the story. Plus, this gives the manga more time to develop so that in the future the anime doesn't catch up very quickly.

If they did only shit in the manga it'd be about 50 eps of shit with no context and hollow characters. The manga is literally 90 percent fights with little to no story or character development.

P.S the next episode's looks like the filler episode but not really because they need to give us more backstory on Mugino we don't know shit about this man and we know what's gonna happen with him in this arc...
