One of my favorite parts of this episode is Kirei and Kiritsugu analyzing each other. Zero starts slowly but it picks up. I'd say that this is a more character driven anime and even though the fights are really good I wouldn't say they are the greatest focus. I love seeing the motivations of all the characters rather than just focusing on a single character.

2022-02-28 07:28:42 +0000 UTCAnother thing of note that's important that you guys missed was that The relic used to summon saber was in perfect condition and it was the scabbard of Excalibur the legendary sword of king Arthur. In fate lore this scabbard has incredible healing ability so long as the servant that wields Excalibur is nearby the scabbard can be used to heal anything it touches. Also to answer Chris's question about the servants being the same. The answer is no but sometimes there can be overlap. The servant you get will largely depend on the relic you use to summon it so if the same relic is used in the next grail war for example it may be possible to get the same servant but usually they're different

The more important or closer a relic is to the identity of a hero the more likely it is you will get that specific hero. Also to clarify there are 7 classes of servants archer, saber, Lancer, assassin, caster, rider, berserker and 7 heroic spirits ( this refers to the specific heroes identity like what their name was when they were alive as they are based on actual people or legends from history or mythology. So it would be helpful if you guys knew your history as you would actually recognize some of these servants since you read about them or leaned about them in school or books etc
