I think a lot of other films seem to focus on his gadgets too much and forget that Batman is somewhat of a mastermind in his own right. This movie is suppose to take place in his second year so they only BARELY touch on his intelligence. In the comics - because he eventually meets Green Lantern, Superman, Doctor Fate, etc. - of course hes gonna be like wtf i need to know everything about these guys and eventually does. Superman eventually deems him "The most dangerous man on the planet" and his intelligence/tactics/strategy go on to rival lex luthor status. If yall want to watch the best Batman origin (in my opinion) i would start with the animated Batman: Year One - OR - if yall want to see the other end of his career - kind of like a "what if" ending for Batman i would check out the animated Dark Knight Returns parts 1 and 2
