"has marvel ever done one-off series?" - this is a thing that comics in general kinda do a lot. but its easier bc they can put right on the cover that its separate. but i dont think theyd do that here, i dont think the audience theyre going for is ready for all that.

I mean really, no one can blame us for being disoriented or confused on whats real or not when the writing and editing is doing this intentionally. It kept cutting in a way that made it seem like a dream within a dream, within another dream. First the doctor, then the running around with steven, and of course the memories. Shits a mess lol

2022-04-27 13:57:33 +0000 UTCI read 1 comic after episode 2 of moon knight, (the comic regarded as the universally accepted one from fans), so maybe I have some more ground to work with, but I didn't expect you two to be that convinced of the "doctor" and the asylum lol. This is entirely an inner journey explaining Steven's purpose and origin. The crazy making is a big part of our guy's psyche. He does believe he is crazy, so he cooks up an asylum insisting he is to beat himself down. Rest assured the marvel hero Moon Knight is in fact a tangible, actual hero, he's just also mentally ill and guilt ridden. That bit where Konshu finds a dying Marc is his heroic origin down to a T, the sparknotes version anyway.
