Illya is actually 18, she's older than Rin and Shirou. She was 8 during F/Z, and there was a 10 year timeskip. She just calls Shirou onii-chan (big brother) because anime is weird

And yeah unlimited bladeworks was intended to be viewed before fate zero (which is why I preferred for yall to watch Fate Zero last, since it contains quite a few spoilers due to it being a prequel as yall mentioned) but regardless least now yall have a little bit more context.

2022-04-30 14:52:05 +0000 UTCmy whole point in mentioning that is while the anime writers did take this into account, the way this series refers to F/Z and the way it actually happened aren't always going to match 100% and it's worth keeping in mind both from an IRL standpoint of the nonlinear way in which these stories were adapted, and a narrative standpoint since most of the characters in this show of course don't actually know what went down back then.

The original visual novel is Fate/Stay Night, a lot of the stuff that's in F/Z it mentions but none of that got fleshed out until the F/Z novels were written a good five or six years later. Then that was adapted into an anime, Fate and the animation studio Ufotable got real popular, and they eventually made a good full adaptation of the two story routes in F/SN that never got an animated adaptation; UBW with this anime, and Heaven's Feel with the movie trilogy.

Basically archer and rin were gassing up berserker and mentioned that the power they feel from him is insane. They even mentioned that he was the kind of servant who could take on all the 6 others at the same time.
