U got some problems my guy. You really hella upset over the fact that he had a past life and he was right around 30. Like bruh it doesn't matter either way when they are both grown. My dad who is about 60 was married to a 30 year old. Like bruh get over it. I understand its fucked up when they show this at a young age but at the same time you act like he should never get any pussy his age with his body at any point because he has the memories of his past life. The intros are different every episode and are there to introduce the setting of the episode. It might not have been that eventful here, but as they're journeying, they'll be important to watch. And besides, they're 90 seconds long and different every time, why skip them. In this world, they only celebrate people's 5th, 10th, and 15th birthdays, so this is the first birthday Rudy has celebrated while in that house. Rudy and Eris are 3rd cousins. Idk the specifics of how that looks on the family tree, but apparently those relationships are legal even in the US. It's not too important, but Hilda is the one who told Eris to go to Rudy's room, not Philip.
