But I feel at this point there is still a ton of disreagard to the worst of the worst of their actions. I hope its building up to that by dissecting the building blocks to those problematic actions. Accountabilty is important for growth

They're much better than they used to be, but they still fuck up. They regret those fuck ups and improve even more. That's what I love about this story, characters have severe flaws but also have good qualities. They've done disgusting things in the past, but Rudy and Paul are still 2 of my favorite characters because of their growth. They feel like actual people. Not just Rudy and Paul, but also Eris and Ruijerd. This is why I honestly don't care whether the story goes batshit crazy with its overall plot or if it follows a slice of life pacing like it did for the first 8 episodes, because I enjoy the characters so much.
