Also S2 is coming in less than 11 days from now so it would be the perfect time to catch up before it comes out which it seems like you guys are doing.

As a heads up after finishing the 1st season, the next story arc is covered in the Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul movie (which I thought was incredible). Then season 2 actually begins this July on the 6th There are also 2 other movies but those are just compilations of the 1 season and can be skipped.
