That reminds me about how my hero academia started off setting midoriya to be like batman and give the message YOU DONT NEED TO HAVE POWERS/QUIRKS TO BE A HERO, YOU JUST HAVE TO BE BRAVE AND RESOURCFUL. and then they instantly gave him superman powers because thats actually not true, you have to be chosen by a demigod lol.

Then episode 8 they backpeddle on that and give him an op attack. Fate UBW was badly written, but at least the author had a point to make. What the hell does this author have to add to the medium with this story? Everything is a carbon copied trope from another show, there's literally nothing original.

Anyway lots of tropes I think is the biggest problem with the show but the curse shield is a pretty cool thing. Also I think Cris missed the part when Filo ate red berries and threw them up. She never regenerated or took damage but Filo surviving was pretty😑🙄🫡
