The 3 prophets of Ganja is such an interesting concept in that prequal story of the episode. We heard the leader is one because "he is gifted and his prophesies turn true". The one with white hair seems to be one because he is incredibly smart and philosophic and he can even read/understand the glyphs/language of the Abyss. And right at the start we see the girl wonder why is she one of them, considering she says she is not gifted like them. Was her only purpose to get them to the island with the compass? Or will we find out about her real purpose later? Are they all chosen on some destiny level stuff or is it all just bullshit? So many questions. This season is so wild. Even as a manga reader I'm so exited to see everything again :D

its not unnecessary. that's a real situation that happens to real people. if anything, you think its unnecessary for you to know about it just because it made you feel temporarily uncomfortable. don't be so selfish and ignant, life aint all sunshine and rainbows kid.

This show would be 10/10 without the sexualizing and disgusting kinks that author puts in. That one scene was unnecessary

I'm gonna cry again lmao. I'm anime only and I've basically been told that what happens in this season makes what Bondrewd did look like child's play which is FUCKING INSANE. Made in Abyss is probably the only anime where it makes me so genuinely sacred for the main cast of characters
