In the interview for this movie Nasu is asked how Salter compared to Gilgamesh and he says that the fight is actually master dependent and that if Salter has a good Master she can win meaning that this isn't unlimited mana Salter. He also goes on about how when they were both alive they had tremendous firepower and that Gil only has a SLIGHT edge due to his Clairvoyance, this means that in terms of firepower they are equal. Also, Salter isn't spamming Excalibur, she is spamming her Mana Burst nukes which is also something normal Artoria is capable of given the right master. We get to see how powerful a Full Power Artoria is in Fate Extella and she is pretty much undefeated throughout the Main Story.

2022-07-18 15:58:56 +0000 UTCMaybe I misinterpreted it, but I believe the person Kiritsugu kept leaving to go see was Illya, but the Einzberns put up a barrier, and never let him into the castle again to see her. They told her he betrayed Irisviel and abandoned her, hence her resentment. I think Illya realized it was her he was coming to see in that moment listening outside the door. You're also kind of right about Archer. There was a quick line in the first movie you may have overlooked or forgot about where he said "It seems that this is not the situation where I can prioritize my personal business.". Remember, he is still a guardian, summoned to prevent the fall of humanity. There was too much going on for him to deal with Shirou like he did in UBW.

I feel so bad for Sakura in Fate, it's even more horrifyung when you realize what would have been going on with her in the other routes. It's such a big franchise, each one definitely has their good points and bad points.

Pretty much in all of the other fate routes, she was being abused/traumatized, it's just that as the readers/,viewers we wouldn't know since it wasn't the focus , and her character was mysterious (so that means Zouken forced Sakura to give control of Rider to Shinji in all routes) that's part if the reason why yall saw Sakura and Gilgamesh talking in ubw. Part 3 movie is going to blow yall away, lore wise + animation wise. P. S I'm glad yall enjoyed this!

2022-07-17 20:03:00 +0000 UTCSakura and Saber Alter (Dark Saber) only seem super OP because they're drawing mana from the Holy Grail. Under normal circumstances, Saber Alter is actually weaker than normal Saber. The only difference is that Saber Alter gives no fucks and doesn't hold herself back and spams Excaliblasts. Without the Grail powering her, she wouldn't have the mana to do that. The Visual Novel actually mentions that after Sakura ate Gil, he was about to literally rip his way out of her from the inside, which is why she had to focus so much energy into quickly digesting him.

2022-07-17 18:40:39 +0000 UTCThere's a reason Sakura easily bodies Gil. The Shadow is anti-servant as seen with Saber last movie. Even Archer is affected badly. Gil is much more resilient despite how quick she took him out here. In the og visual novel, Sakura decided to eat him all at once, and was having trouble digesting him inside after that.
