Yeah i thought some of this plot reminded me of one of the games. Mainly castlevania 3 i just couldnt put my finger on it cause of how long its been lol

The overall plot is a mix of Castlevania III, where Trevor Belmont, Sypha, and Alucard team up to take down Dracula, and Symphony of the Night, from which it takes the plot elements of Lisa and Dracula to give him his driving motivation (with a sprinkling of Lament of Innocence, where the context is completely different but has the plot element of Dracula being turned from a benign intellectual to someone committed to great evil). *And then* it takes a fair bit from Curse of Darkness; Hector, Isaac, and a character later on are all from that game, though they are completely different characters in the show outside of some personality and design nods.
