loved you guys reaction and analysis. some notes: i like how the series isn’t afraid to touch on so many different emotions, especially grief, loneliness, and sadness. alucard, trevor, isaac, hector, and especially dracula experienced profound loneliness and loss. @ 27:08 - nah hector didn’t want the humans eradicated. he only conceptualizes them as pets and livestock. he wants mercy for them, for them to be penned as livestock, which is what Dracula promised him would happen. Carmilla got in Hector’s head by comparing Lisa to a pet. when Dracula and Isaac were talking, Dracula seems to — in my opinion — express some remorse for manipulating Hector, since Hector is so naturally kindhearted. i love you guys’ thoughts on the overall ‘war’ effort and plan. watching the series, I did think Carmilla made the most logical sense. Dracula was rounding up every resource he had to annihilate the humans as quickly as possible, and intended to take himself and other vampires with him. they’re acting on self preservation. at the end of the day, only one person was actually willing to die for Dracula’s cause: Isaac
