He got dat Factory Reset for depleting his power 100% (something he hasn't done since S1E1 after Riko rebooted his ass w/ external power etc, likely this botched reboot caused his memories to get danny deleto'd cuz it wasn't the correct way of rebooting him after charging/maintenance period as would normally be done in w/e place does maintenance on these types of things, likely the same factory or w/e that creates them to begin with, it presumably at the bottom of the Abyss), which makes sense if he used his remaining energy stocks (i.e the final Incinerator shot) to prevent Riko from pepsing for good.

2023-02-04 00:23:04 +0000 UTCAs we all know time moves so slow in the 6th layer in comparison to the surface cuz around 1,900 - 2000 years ago the abyss was found and thats around the same time as when Vueko's group went into the 6th layer so basically its been 2000 years that have past on the surface whereas only about 150+ years have only past in the 6th layer and this is backed up by Wazukyan when talking to Riko an episode ago. So my point is that its only been 10 years on the surface since Layza took her last dive into the 6th layer, but as I said before time is slower so Layza could have only been there for a week or a couple days if that's makes sense? And idk if you guys have noticed but based off the map of the entire abyss the 6th layer is massive in comparison to the layers before it and they also stated a couple episodes ago in the anime that they're still only by the entrance of the six layer we've barely scratched the surface basically especially because we have yet to see "The Golden City".

2022-09-08 05:47:33 +0000 UTCThis episode tells me that Reg lost his memories after using his incinerator and he knew that would happen for whatever reason. The moment when Reg lost his memories was on the first layer when he saved Riko from the Crimson Splitjaw using the incinerator.
