2022-10-24 16:06:32 +0000 UTCMike Pondsmith is the creator of the Cyberpunk Universe, the series originally started as a pen & paper RPG similar to DnD in the form of Cyberpunk2020. In-fact some of the major lore characters for the series are characters Mike Pondsmith played himself. Like Morgan Blackhand, Johnny Silverhand, Ripperjack.. etc. Another fun fact, in the Afterlife Bar they have a tradition of naming their drinks after deceased NightCity Legends & there's been a drink in the game since the beginning called the "David Martinez" people had no idea who this & all kinds of wild speculation trying to figure out who it was. 2 years later we're finally introduced to David in anime form. So the people who remember this, knew from the moment we learned his name in episode 1 that he was gonna die.
