100% agree with you guys! This episode & the Series Fianle is where the Rushed writing is painfully apparent for Daenerys’ character. It was absolutely for shock value to (try) & turn her into the Mad Queen at the tail End. The writers (D&D) were offered 10 full 10 episode seasons by HBO & begged by GRRM to extend the show a couple more seasons & they refused.
