I’m not a manga reader, I agree that it’d be weird if Tanjiro wasn’t related to Yoriichi but it seemed like he was treated as a family friend instead of a relative in the flashback. This show is confusing 💀

I just gotta remind you guys if you are manga readers be careful with what theories of ours you try to debunk with dialoug thats meant to foreshadow, cause it can ruin the intention of the narrative. Iv seen writers do things to intentionally confuse and make the viewer theorize. Being corrected at every step could change that intention

2023-04-17 02:54:03 +0000 UTCNot sure if y’all noticed, but they mentioned that the short hashira is a descendent of Yoriichi (the guy that the puppet was based on) so Tanjiro can’t be related to him. My guess is that one of his ancestors met Yoriichi in the past
