2023-07-08 21:41:29 +0000 UTCThe event they're referring to isn't the one 200 years ago, it's when Ywbach took the powers of impure Quinces. It killed Uryuu's mother, and took Ichigo's mother's powers. They explained it last season, all Quinces that weren't pure lost their powers, except Uryuu.
