There’s definitely some episodes that don’t seem like they’re good but have very important scenes before 151, I would definitely suggest skimming through them at least because you won’t wanna miss anything before you get to the heat

2021-10-20 13:00:40 +0000 UTCI think its objective that zora and vanessa' epi are the worst of these non-manga epis. zora feels like a missed opportunity to do something with trap magic or to go put a snotty magic knight in his place, and his epi makes him act out of character. vanessa' needed a better reason to go mentor some witches or w.e. She straight up went to the forest to train and didnt and just made up an excuse why at the end of the epi. And i like these two characters but thats just facts. Finral' filler epi that got skipped is better than these two episodes and yall know its true. Now I think charmy and gordon' epi were funny and they get so little screen time already that the show did pretty well with what it had. But the two epis after this are kinda like these last ones. Again none of this stuff happens in the manga; the anime is just filling in some gaps of time and givings some side characters some shine before our time skip. Obvi some of these epis are written better than others. Its very similar to how Naruto or OP have filler arcs between canon arcs, shouldn't be that surprising fr. If you guys were more AoT or KnY or JJK fans I would understand the frustration more. I hope you guys enjoy the next few before we move back to manga canon at least.

2021-10-20 03:07:56 +0000 UTCThese filler episodes are the exact reason they stop at ep 170 in the middle of the Spade Kingdom War because the anime caught up with the manga, and the BC animators didn't want to create more of these type of fillers so they just paused the anime

2021-10-20 02:54:58 +0000 UTCYou guys got to remember that they never stopped releasing episodes from black clover, at this point the anime was really close to manga, so they had to do a bunch of episodes like this one and make them “anime canon” to at least make the audience watch them and get some money used back. The reason why they stopped the show was because they didn’t wanted to give us episodes like this anymore.
