2021-10-24 01:45:39 +0000 UTCreally disappointed at people that got mad you guys, as black clover community we should be open to constructive criticism like how the brother are making almost every vid. those are the ones that make the series get better if they get loud enough so that Tabata makes improvements. Since the series came out we had to keep listening to people just saying random stuff about the anime without even watching the series or reading it truly. Yes, you guys are right that the characters sometimes burn the screen every time with their typical phrases, but the take that you guys have about no one training in the series is completely false. this is linear story telling where they only focus in a couple of characters at time, the others are either doing other missions or training at the bases of each guild or just slacking because they are talented enough and the think they don't need nothing of that( watch ep 157 on your own because there is some stuff that is gonna come up and you are gonna be like how the hell is he doing that) . Keep your thoughts coming in because that what differentiates normal people just watching the episodes and cutting the vid and those who put mind behind it.

I wouldn't call Black Clover a mid-level anime just because some "filler" episodes or moments weren't up to your standards or didn't hold your interests. Overall, the story and characters of Black Clover are pretty great/fun and if you wanted to focus on those aspects, you should have stuck with manga canon episodes. Filler episodes/moments have always had one purpose...to give the manga enough time to get ahead. Whether the contents of those episodes/moments are any good or relevant? That's up to the mangaka, anime studio, and the fans. But I wouldn't use them when giving an overall grade to an anime that's based on a long-running manga. (Also, 159 is a complete manga canon episode. Just cause it had funny, silly, moments doesn't make it filler.)

2021-10-23 15:21:35 +0000 UTCLets be real guys this is their opinion on the supporting cast of black clover and while they can be likable and have decent backstories the brothers are not wrong in thinking they are 1 note characters, I actually agree with that sentiment while I disagree that black clover is mid. Original Naruto for sure has a better supporting cast that becomes irrelevant in shippuden and follow their own tropes. Black clover is obviously more focused on Asta and Yuno and the world building and villains of said arc they put little effort in their supporting cast and even less so in the manga I feel because thats not what drives the show. Its a shonen and shonens tend to do that with their supporting cast lets be honest, for example my hero is a big culprit of not utilizing their supporting cast while still being up there in quality (S5 was slow tho). My point being that the brothers are entirely entitled to their opinion on the support cast as even I share the same criticism, tho I do not believe the show is mid for that at all.

My only guess is that you commented impulsively cause what wr said triggered you. As for the point you tried to make, we were speaking based off assumption since we didnt watch it. That should be obvious based off what we said. We are not speaking as if we know for a fact what was in the last couple episodes. Why we would watch the vanessa episode rather than the training arc episode? WE DONT KNOW WHAT ANY OF THE NEXT EPISODES ARE GONNA BE. We specifically said in the last couple reactions we were skipping to manga canon after getting another recap episode within a supposed "anime canon" episode. Skipping the training arc wasnt intentional?

As a fellow Magna fan I can def say you missed out. Naruto stands just cant except powerups unless you in a forest for 30 epis playing with balloons. More than half of MHA S5 was training and everyone called it irrelevant and boring. I would like to hear what show you bros think has a strong relevant supporting cast that isn't troupey with important canonical fights and meaningful exciting training arcs, just as a point of comparison. What shonen is doing those things better than black clover in your opinion?

Of course its your opinions, but I dont know what is keeping you guys hooked onto the show if the show as a whole isn't living up to your expectations. (besides the curiosity of if your questions will be answered) Black Clover imo has one of the best shonen casts with many characters being memorable and not useless to the plot. Along with a story that only continues to get better as you go. Very sad to hear, but curious to see the rest of your reactions guys.

The characters themselves lack a lot of personality and its the reason we get excited for the far and few inbetween episodes where we get just glimpses of characters having a bit more personality like with Luck in the elf arc. Its not as simple as this show is good or bad, it has a lot of positives and negatives for me
