And that's the worst place to be in imo. I tend to think everything is at least good so when people say something I like is mid, I just can't help wanting to know why. Explanations feel more truthful and rounded than just saying "It's mid". 🤷🏾♀️ This is just my take/opinion.

2021-10-31 11:52:46 +0000 UTCI agree 100% yo, BC is so good to me because it incorporates so many mythological, biblical, Nordic, Greek, Demonology and myths creatures and lore from European folklore tales wich I've loved since i was a kid.. but many anime try to take does things but do it so so poorly (all the fate series, FMA etc etc..) And its understandable if some aren't into that and there for aren't able to grasp all the details, intricacies, connections, and foreshadowing. But man i just love how black clover got me reading more history and mythology than my teachers in highschool..

2021-10-31 06:31:42 +0000 UTCit all just depends in what you want in a series, if you truly love mythologies and real life lore thats continuously tied into the story nearly perfectly since the start and not just bare minimum surface level stuff trying to make it seem deeper then it was (looking at you, Fullmetal alchemist) then black clovers characters story and themes are definitely for you, if not then, yeah, enjoyment is subjective and it all just depends on what you like/want from a show

Honestly imo I love the show but it is a mid tier show when compared to other Shonen, I would give it like a 7.5 out of 10 maybe a 8 on that rating scale at most which is in line with a 3 to 4 out of 5 rating....imo.
