Yea I lke the way they did that too, cause it's literally like a holy shit moment for him when he stares out on the sea and remembers when Ushio spawned on the beach for the first time, and the he starts to make the connection.

He's also been figuring out the whole timeline things as the show went on so he just needed to figure out why Ushio would leave him her memories as a hint.

2025-01-18 00:44:03 +0000 UTCThe reason why Haine was easily able to deduce their strategy is because she's literally thinking as Shinpei since she scanned him. That's why she says "it's what I would do" refering to what Shinpei would've deduced since she's also Shinpei rignt now.
