2023-10-16 15:10:07 +0000 UTCWhen "Geto" told about 1 minute, it was about the time the Prison Realm needs to trap Gojo. That's why "Geto" decided to show his face. He knew the shock Gojo would feel by seeing him would freeze him for 1 minute. And that was enough to distract him and get him trapped. Without that, Gojo could have easily run away from the Prison Realm. Basically all the fighting before that was just to add to that 1-minute-confusion.

It seems you guys don't remember this detail from first season. This is why they're standing there motionless. Time is not frozen. The longer you are in gojos domain the worse it is for your mental. Gojo used a nerfed version of his domain to stun lock everyone for only 0.2 seconds cause using his domain for longer at full output would have made all these humans in it become brain dead for life

2023-09-21 19:15:02 +0000 UTCTo add on to what the others said above, in order for prison realm to work they needed to keep gojo within a 4m range of the box for atleast 1 minute. When geto pulled up it confused gojo because his 6 eyes immediately started scanning all the memories in his brain since he was 100 percent sure he killed geto and he was trying to figure out why his 6 eyes was telling him this is indeed geto. That stall allowed the prison realm to activate.

2023-09-21 19:01:54 +0000 UTCTo be clear on what happened with Gojo's domain. He activated it FOR 0.2 seconds. Meaning everybody that got caught in Infinite Void were only there for that long. His domain basically makes you become a vegatable. For the 3 cursed spirits they would return to normal a little bit after the domain if it was used as he normally uses it, but for non-socerers it would leave them braindead forever. Thats why gojo decided to only use it for two tenths of a second, so that the lasting effects would be minimized on the normal humans. He had 299 seconds to kill all the transfigured humans before the cursed spirits fighting him regained consciousness
