I love this shot. I don't often shoot a lot of horizontal model images, but her pose and the lighting made it a necessity. I'd love to make a print of it six feet long.

Stevie did great, not appearing nervous or jittery at all. She had no qualms about being naked bareback on the horse or in front of Tony, and at least for her part the shoot went very smooth.

I may be biased, but the angles from behind turned out best. The curve of Stevie's back side in the sun mimicked the curve of the horses rump fairly well, and I couldn't help but get several shots from that perspective.

But the largest complication was my normal movement, which would spook the horse or make it nervous from time to time. I needed to walk around it, trying to get the best angles and perspectives possible, but every time I got too close or make an unexpected noise, the horse seemed very unhappy.
For starters, even though the horse was well trained and Tony was good at controlling it, the beast still had a mind of its own. Then I had to find angles that looked good for both the animal and Stevie, who was doing her own thing.
