Got some weird looks from the other parents while picking my son up from school today. I’m sure it was because of my unusual hat and had nothing to do with being barefoot in the snow.

At the doctor waiting for a scan on my knee. I dislocated it badly a few weeks ago, bad enough that I needed to take time off work, and this scan will check how the healing is progressing.

My husband’s aunt threw a surprise birthday party for me today! Their house rule is that I have to wash my feet when I come in so I don’t get anything yucky on their carpet, so feet are clean at the end of the day today.

I went to K Days barefoot! It’s basically like Edmonton’s version of a state fair, but way bigger than any state fair I’ve ever been to, other than maybe the California state fair
