This happens when you click/tap on Rebecca on the relationship UI.

There is a bug that occurs in certain situations, one of them is right after updating the game.
Just click on "Quit" and then reopen the game. It should work afterwards.

V0.1.1 feels like the first release of MCS. With this update, the game is ready for future content and will not require the player to replay everything from the begining with every new release(this might change when I release the RPG update).
You can now buy and sell items!
The new store will sell misc and consumable items(although it will buy everything).
