Volume 5 - Official Prologue (edited - v2)

The Fifth Layer was among the strangest of Layers humanity encountered.  

It wasn’t a grand world teeming with magical life like the Second Layer, nor was it a shattered Plane hovering over an empty Void like the Third Layer, or even a strange, constructed world like the First Layer....

Volume 4's Audiobook is almost complete - it should be finished sometime this week.

Update: I've finished outlining Volume 7's plot. (due to the interconnected nature of the 7 Layers, and the characters it contains, in particular for Volume 5, I've had to greatly outline a large number of things, in order to ensure Volume's 5, 6, 7 etc. remain cohesive, even as my story expands in scope and scale - this is what I've been up to until today.)

Update as of Jan 11: I'm still working on parts of Volume 5. The outlines are detailed, the plot finished, and the narrative finally in a place I like.

It took me quite a bit longer then I wanted, but that's how writing big complicated plots do be.
