My grandfather painted an oil portrait of my grandmother. It was a classic portrait with a pearl earring and black hair braided into a plait. Against her dark hair, that earring resonated even more strongly.

The last time I saw it was two decades ago.

Now I take photographs with braid...

Plus, it happened to be with one of the sunniest models I know :)
