Doing another one-page comic. This one is based on some of the real reactions I see with comics sometimes (not necessarily my own, although it happens to me sometimes). Hoping to draw it in the next few days!

I go a little meta in this page.
People asked me about why Felicia and Chiro has hair, but Kat doesn't. Short answer is Kat DOES have hair; they're just the exact same color as her fur, so they blend in.

Found these just now, some sketches I did for the very first Fuzzy Princess story. Back then I would sketch everything out on paper, then scan it in where I would tweak it and lay it out onto a page, which I would then ink from.

Now begins the task of making fixes for Fuzzy Princess Volume 2!
One of the editor's notes was suggesting I redraw the first panel to conform to the 180 rule.
That comic was drawn 3 years ago, so making sure the new art matches with the old page was a fun challenge. Kat's ...

I'm working on getting the 2nd Fuzzy Princess book made! It's in editing stage now, but I ordered test copies from a couple of different printers just to see how they hold. Here are some pics!

I announced elsewhere that I'm putting "Ask a Cat" to bed for the time being. After 5 years, it felt like the right time.
So what does it mean? Well, I will focus on "The Fuzzy Princess" full-time (you have have noticed that I'm making this Patreon focus entirely on the comic), and maybe a ...

For those anticipating the second book, I have good news! The book has been laid out and is now being sent to the copy editor! My goal is to have it printed by 2020 convention season.
The book contains comics from November 2017 to December 2018. In addition, it features an introduction (and...

"Eek and Meek" was a real strip, btw, and yes, what Jordan described happened.

Designing a new character for Fuzzy
Kanin, a girl bunny dating Kat's cousin, Cal. She's the only one who can keep up with the adventurous Cal, and is also super protective of him.
Still need to flesh her out, but I have an idea of where to go in her introduction. Some sample designs o...

A scan from a notebook of a page I recently worked on. Most of what was written was changed when I got to drawing the final version.

I'm in a group and we were talking about you can illustrate a characters' personality easily by having them try to open a jar of pickles and see how they react.
I took that challenge and wrote six comics featuring various Fuzzy Princess characters opening a jar. Here's a sketch for the Feli...

After saving the lineart, I make a copy of the file and prep to do the colors. I made a palette of all the main characters so I can just pick the colors easily. I pretty much just paintbucket everything, both to retain the "Sunday Comics" look, and also because it's the fastest.
