Work in Progress

I got out my custom body form to fit a bikini! Made out of air dry clay. Perhaps that makes it a Clay-kini?! I'm enjoying working with a different medium. 

Walking by the lake.

I took a walk past the lake this morning.  It wasn't too hot to enjoy the day.  Just right.  

A beautiful walk.

I went out for a walk near the public garden this morning.  I was looking for some small tender Poke weed for a video that I'm working on for my YouTube channel.  It's a humid hot sticky day and it really felt good to get out of my shirt for a while.  

Backyard Drama: Brooding Chicken (repost: yesterday's version wasn't working)

On most Saturdays, my first chore is to clean the chicken coop. This weekend, I had a chicken that was reluctant to leave.

I was amazed by all of the formerly bustling places that are totally closed now.  There are so many deserted places that used to be packed!  I never ate at this restaurant and I never will.  I do remember that they had long lines every time I passed by.

A nice walk in the woods! It's been raining almost everyday, and everything is so rich and lovely in green.

Final touches

I completed the final touches on my rose painting. Using my colored pencils, I created just a bit of detail!

After a quick trip out shopping for some essentials I thought that it would be a good time to walk past a now closed relic of a store with my cupcakes in the breeze.  The mall security guard didn't see it that way and kept bugging me.   He didn't really seem to care what I was wear...

A little bit of the swamp.

there's a place where the local walking trail goes right into the swamp.  It's always interesting to see what's there.  I didn't see anything fun to share today. I'm going to try to come back here with my camera more often to show off how cool it is.  I hope that you like it! ...

A rose watercolor painting!

As I shared previously, I was completely inspired by my rose! The peach, yellow, and coral all together is just stunning! I put together a little video set to some snappy music. My next step just may be some finer details with colored pencil.

A top free walk in the woods!

I went for a walk out in the woods and saw some beautiful things.  Like this little Japanese Maple that someone must have brought out there for a long forgotten reason.  Maybe it was just to brighten up the deep dark woods. 

Driving!

I had almost forgotten how much fun driving a car is!  I stayed socially distant, but went out for a takeout burger from my favorite place! 

Weeding the garden.

It's one of those chores that isn't fun to do, and there's no way around it.  It has to be done or the food can't grow.  I'm in between paintings right now but I still need to show what I'm creating and how.  The garden is taking a lot of time, but once it's established I'll be eat...

Totally minimalist outfit!

Here is a picture of me in my newly made minimalist shoes!  They were fun to make and so far I'm really enjoying wearing them.  They're no replacement for my Doc Martens, but it's nice to have options! : )
