Im kinda surprised by the speed of this one. limited my brush to 50% minimum opacity so i try to rely on blending less. Im still really reliant on it but we're getting there.

More experimenting; decided to do a cleaner line pass, local colors after temperature pass, and painting over lines. Also harder brush. Id say this one came out pretty good.

369 - Kayna (Monster Hunter Stories 2) 90 minute study, experimenting using purely brushstrokes and no lines. its a lot of trial and error and at some point she looked so ugly i didnt want to continue lol; its a fun method but i think i still need to work with a sketch first.

4 hour study of @BardoPlus 's Vivi.
Wanted to do a bright beach day study so had to work with a lot of different light sources (bright white light from sun, bounced light from sand, ambient sky light)
It was really fun. Also wanted to play with a different expression too.

rendering water and floaty was a real challenge, but i think i managed to get it down. Experimenting with a more direct approach, resulted in really rough edges that i had to clean up later anyways. It was fun to work on nonetheless.
