I think overall, she worked well as a guide, and prototyping/concepting always helps the mind visualise variations.

When I first started work on this game in earnest, I had created about 20 different races and their backgrounds.

Some races like the Lyrelai (a race of alien Hyena/Jackal hybrids) didn't make the final cut, but there will be (time permitting) cameo's for some of the more memorable character...
